I'm about to graduate in December with a BS in Biology. Then I'm going to Law School in 2008. I consider that an accomplishment.

You don't achieve an accomplishment. It's either what have feminists accomplished, or what have feminists achieved. Anyway, if it weren't for feminists, the world would look very different today. But I'm not going to create a list because people such as yourself don't really want to know, you're just asking so you can dismiss the answer. Look it up yourself--you might be enlightened.

There's a pervasive cultural amnesia about what feminists have done in this country.

Of course, you could start with the very early feminists who got women the right to vote. But you're probably talking about a bit later.

Elevation of women in the corporate/business world (although it's still woefully lacking).
Title IX.
Outlawing sex discrimination and contesting sexual harassment in the workplace.
Stricter laws (and enforcement of same) concerning domestic violence.
Maternity leave
Legal abortion
Property and legal rights within marriage.
Improved legal position in child custody cases.
More liberalized divorce laws.

Lots more, but you get the picture...

Currently feminists are working on combating the sexualization of young girls...and I have noticed that a lot of women become feminists are taking full responsibility for raising the next generation (there are a lotta deadbeats in this generation 4/10, thats almost half of all fathers who are now choosing to be deadbeats). (This is where a lot of the hostility comes from.)

There is also still a fight for equality in the workplace (for mothers), since somebody has to provide food and shelter for the next generation of humans.

The right to vote, the right to gainful employment, the right to own property, reproductive freedom, equal pay, improved child care, and (for a short time) helping women feel like something other than freaks if they didn't want to get married.

to create hostilities between the sexes based on paranoia, misleading women, blaming men for everything wrong and generally promoting hate.

Many believe feminists spent decades or centuries fighting for the vote.. however, it's a terribly misleading 'believe'. Click my sources link for information on the vote and people have been deceived intentionally by feminists.
