I am sad because i am not with the person i want to be with

I did not know I was. But if I were, it would be the condition of our government and our president. Moreover, I am devastated that so many young people have died in a war in a country that we had no business in invading. I thought we were going after Bin Laden; not to cripple a country that was a sovereign nation, even though we did not believe in their culture. We don't subscribe to the dictatorship of Cuba, but we haven't invaded them.
If I were to be sad, it would be that I am embarrassed to be an American because the entire world is wondering what in the heck are we doing? While democracy is a very good idea, it is not shared by the countries that we try to demand that they agree with our form of the intent.
I'm not sad, but it is sad that our administration thinks that we are the leaders of the planet. That just is not so. Great Britain, Australia, New Zealand, Russia, China, Japan, Africa and others do not subscribe to our "police state" of the earth. They all can't be wrong.
