I was in a school shooting last year. The actual hostage situation took place inside my room. One of my friends was killed after six of my other friends were molested.

When? September 27th.

5 years ago I took a job in a very bad neighborhood, one night after work I was walking to my car and gun shots rang out. I hit the cement, when i got up there was a 12 year old boy laying on the side walk shot 4 times, I ran over to see what I could as I have some medical training. But there was nothing to do but hold him , he died in my arms. I can't tell you all the thoughts that went through my mind while waiting for the emt's to get there, here's this boy, leaving us forever and with only a stranger to witness his going. I will never be the same.

Years ago when I was doing piles worth of two different hard drugs as fast as possible one night. Then ended up taking a small handfull of unknown drugs. I lost mostly all control and ended up getting raped by the gay acquantiances that had been my connections (while my gf was ignorant and willing in the other room). The next day when my girlfriend at the time was coming down hard like that for the first time she cut my face with a steak knife before I told her to go back to her home town. I eventually got sober.

When I was raped at age 9, than again at age 17, 21,37 and several other times in my life since than. I have also had seven major operations, during my life, lost 4 siblings before they reached age 45 and one partner to cancer and one to a shooting. Is that enough? I haven't even gotten to my age 40 and I'm 52. Life can be a "B" but the alternative's aren't' great.

why would you ask such a question that talks about the personal lives of other people. this question probably affects quite a lot of people. but that's only my opinion because i've never been traumatized.....

When my mom would ask me if I was stupid all the time. It scarred me in ways you can't imagine all my life. And of all the things she said to me...that question that she would ask over and over and over again..has never left me.
