They should all be ashamed since the 3 tier Government Bush Dictatorship has been broken up. All of the Republicans voted the same way whether or not they were actually fiscal or neocon. The GOP lumped its own self together to gain power over the people of the USA. Now with all of the resignations and open scandals coming from the the outcome of all of this power corruption... the Republican party has really scared politically the ones that are left. This is their own fault for not stopping any of it as it went along.

Nobody should be ashamed -- it's a different group that simply shares some common ground.

Both have the same general social conservative agenda, and advocate for the same type of conservative approach to civil liberties issues.

The major differences between neo-cons and fiscal conservatives are their approaches to economics, and the role of govt (particularly federal). There, the agendas are very different.

So, why should one group feel ashamed just because a different group does things differently? But yes, it is a shame that some people insist on lumping them together.
