Animal extinction is out of control. In as little as ten to twenty years we could lose Great White sharks, Polar Bears, Gorillas, Tigers, Sea Turtles...I could go on and on. Without these animals to stabilize our ecosystem, we will be the next to be extinct.
I encourage anyone who reads this to research how poachers kill the Tigers, Gorillas, Elephants, Sharks, and Turtles. You will be shocked at the reasons why and the completely inhumane fashion that they do it. The animals are wasted and not used for anything other than a specific portion (fins, fur, shell, tusks) and it is sickening and disturbing. It is upsetting to read about but I couldn't live in ignorance any longer.

I think that the most important issue in the world is the situation in Dufar I really think until the world starts caring about something other than just it's own problems we will never be able to cure what ails the world. The second issue that tearing the world apart is this stupid war. The US has more people against us than in any other time in our creation and it's not just the countries of the Arab world. Most of the countries that supported us aren't to sure that they still want to.
We're in a mess of a situation and we still haven't done what we said was the reason for starting this war.

Our inability to apply technology to help and defend. Our offensive capabilities far outstrip our other technology to the point where we are truly on the brink of self exterminiation.
We have nuclear prolifieration but no way to stop the use of nukes or clean up the after effects.
We have biological weapons that could unleash a plague that killed every man woman and child on the earth. Yet we have no place to ride such a plague out. No way to combat one. No defense against it.
We are steadily destroying the earth with pollution and misuse of our resources. Our ability to destroy the earth increases exponentially faster than our ability to heal it.
Compared to this AIDs is just a bad cold and underpopulation rather than overpopulation the problem. One world government just means we die under a single tyrant rather than many. Peace cannot be imposed from without, it has to come from within. Pollution is only a problem because our technology lags so badly behind in repairing the damage and minimizing out footprint on the planet.
So the most important issue today I feel is the use of technology and the many barriers to invovation and invention that will help us save ourselves.

IT's a simple mater of give and take. HUmans are taking to much and not giving back. Man kind has gone through a selfish streak. Both personally and globally. no1 plants the trees they burn down. no1 thanks the teachers that spend their lives trying to enrich them(there are still people who care though). no1 is thinking about thier kids. they take everything they can get in their lives and never give to future generations. gratitude and greatfulness is losing meaning rapidly. people are living in a digital world that no mater how convienent it gets will always be a loss of life because it isn't reality. crap i just went on a rant. uhhh. yeah selfishness is just the main reason things are the way they are. just think about it.

The united nations.........We have to make it work or we are all going to be in a lot of trouble. Every country has its own agenda and thats where the problem is. We have to come together as one to face todays problems. The earth is too small today for every country to carry on with its own agenda. Each country should be responsible for its own future bye setting its own rules and regulations with a democratic government and then work them into the global state . We have this opportunity at this time in our history to do it and make it work....let us not pass it up or put it off. We need strong and dedicated rulers....now

HIV/AIDS in Africa. The issue is far too complex to get into here, but really: The millions of people who have died, the millions who are currently infected, the millions who will become infected in the future, and all of the children left behind.
