I swear, the second I saw this question, before I clicked on the details, "Ginger Ale" popped immediately into my head. There's nothing with quite that same combo of sweet, calming and refreshing. But if you've got a sore throat or congestion, there's nothing better than hot peppermint tea. I drank tons of it when I got mono this year, and I kicked it in three weeks.
Now then: Schweppes or Canada Dry?

If its a cold/flu thing I like hot chai tea
If its an upset stomach, then almost flat ginger ale at room temperature.

My mom always made me drink 7-up because she said it would "settle my stomach" and eat bananas because the potassium would help my body fight off the illness. I am 27 now and when I am truly sick those are the only 2 things that I can hold down. And..........I do the same thing with my kids. They get sick I go straight out for 7-up and bananas!!!!

For me it's gotta be Ginger Ale or Hot Chocolate. I don't excually fancy tea, and i hate it when my mother makes me drink it even though i know its gonna help me get better.

If I have a cold, I love to drink hot tea. It just kind of opens everything up and makes me feel a lot better.
