My school doesnt allow binge drinking activities like beer pong... The table we use is in plain view...if an RA comes to the door can I just step outside to talk to him or do I have to let him in?Im afraid he'll call the cops and then theyll do worse. We shut all the bedroom doors and Im pretty sure they cant go in a shut door...does anybody have any good Ideas to protect myself?

Let me make sure I understand this.

You want to do something in violation of the dorm rules and you are hoping there are other dorm rules that will protect you from getting caught?

Good luck with that.

Dude, take a nice white sheet, fold it in half the long way so you cannot see through it at all. Then use it to completely obstruct the view into the room even if the door is open.

This should keep the RA from seeing in and is particularly useful if you have a good RA. The sheet plan is best suited to a room with a, sort of, hallway type entryway. Use a hammer and nails and keep plenty of hammer and nails around for when the drunks in your room ripp down the sheet.

what do the dorm rules say? you have a private contract with the dorm. you have to obey the rules to stay there. if they say the RA can come in, he/she can. They are not technically landlords nor police, but are bound by the contract.

Understand- this is private property...just not yours.
You have access, the school owns it.

They can go where needful- if you are found in violation
of school regulations, you could be expelled.

Your call.
