when i sit down i always cross my legs no matter what. and i used to feel very comfortable and relaxing now when i do it my top leg starts to throb and hurt a little. my leg also falls asleep a lot fast now like 20 minutes sometimes. is there a reason for this? i really dont want to have to give it up

Change legs and sometimes just X the ankles. Good luck!

1] you are cutting off the circulation to the leg
2] everyone who does that gets varicose veins [ I kid you not! ]
3] learn to cross legs at the ankle - it looks better, and doesn't flash anyone

Your circulation is getting cut off. It's probably happening now more than before because your body is larger than it once was, therefore there's more tissue to be squeezed.
