half synthetic and half oil blend.for my 1991 Honda civic 1.5 liter engine automatic with 124,000 miles?thank's

I think that you are asking about a semi-synthetic blend like the one Pennzoil has on the market, 4x4 blend I think, it is cheaper than the full synthetic and is formulated to be better and longer lasting than conventional oil. If you want to use this, it is fine. And as far as mixing conventional and synthetic oils it will not hurt a thing, it may lean down a good synthetic oil but it wont harm the engine.

i have only one question,why not run all synthetic in it,i have never heard of anyone mixing it before,that car doesn't hold that much,if i was going to use synthetic oil in it id use all synthetic oil,not a mix,good luck with it.

I have heard it is not recommended to mix synthetic and regualr oils. Really do not know why. . . but that is what I heard. So I would have to say NO to your question.

i would go synthetic especially mobil one thats what i use in my 97 acura and ive got 165 thousand miles on her
