How much does it cost to have a simple aluminum cast made?

I wanted to create an aluminum cast of an item. I was wondering what it might cost. Something in the ball park is fine. I just want to get an idea before I go ahead and try to make it.

If you have a casting model (with proper draft for pulling it, etc.) then you might get by under $100 and perhaps even under $50 if you are willing to have the shop do it with other stuff.
