Sorry Jenny A, but DO NOT use caster oil. It can cause the baby to have a bowel movement before birth and cause very serious health issues. Good Luck.

I tried everything with my last one and nothing worked. Walking, exercise, sex, midwife stripping membranes, spicy foods, NOTHING worked.

Let me tell you, though, that the longer they cook the easier they are. My first was early and he was a much more difficult baby. My second was overdue and he was fat and happy.

I know this is the WORST time, we've all been there. You just have to be patient a little big longer. It's so miserable, and so hot, but it really is better for the baby to come when they are ready.

OMG, there's nothing you can do and it sucks. Mine was 11 days late and I was as big as a house, could barely move. All you can do it wait unless the Dr. says different. It'll be over soon and you'll be fine.

I think it means he/she'll be very strong willed and stubborn. My sister was late, had to be induced and still refused to drop and she is so strong willed. My daughter is the same way, just refuses to do anything she doesn't want to do. She once gave up chocolate pudding so she wouldn't have to eat green beans! Why would anyone in their right mind refuse any kind of chocolate substance?

I used Castor oil!! I took it at 11pm and I drank the whole bottle!! I actually mixed it with two large horchatas, and i put one horchata in the blender and put ice and half of the bottle in that drink, mixed and then drank, and also with the other one and the rest of the castor oil. I went to bed and woke up at 7am went the rest room once, not bad either, and went right back to bed and woke up at 9am and had contractions, at 10am I woke my husband up and had sex, water broke, went to hospital and had baby at 10:42pm! Castor oil is a laxitive and it does react to everyones body different, although people say dont enduce your labor, let it go natural-- I couldn't do that either, so good luck and if you do use this you need to drink the whole bottle within an hour and it is a 6oz bottle... so good luck!!!!

LOL whoever gave me a thumbs down you suck cuz I gave her an answer that works!!!!

The best ways are natural... walking and sex. Your baby will come when it is ready. My dr induced me because of how big my daughter was and i wound up having to have a c section because she just wasnt ready to come out. I know you want to meet your baby but trust me... its worth waiting for!

I was nine days overdue so I took some raspberry leaf suppliments and went into labor the next morning. It may have been a coincidence but who knows? You can get the capsules from any health food store.

You can try walking or having sex. Sometimes that will help move things along. DO NOT TAKE ANY OVER THE COUNTER MEDS TO TRY AND INDUCE PREGNANCY. That could mess your body and your baby up. Other than, just wait. It will happen when it's time to happen.

A baby will come when he/she is ready. Most home induction methods will only cause cramps which will do nothing.

Why would you want to induce your baby? It comes when it's ready and not before.
