Most of the American people live on far less than this. Is this why the government has no idea why people can't afford health care, new cars, bigger homes(or even one at all) and to send their kids to college?

It's typical of American politics today. The average American household lives on less than a third of that. There is no way any politician knows what it is like for the Average family.

for those of you who say it is about his cancer, Snow has said himself that it is not. He has the best medical coverage taxes can buy.

#1. He lives near D.C. -a VERY expensive place to live. #2. He's got Cancer- BIG TIME, and I DOUBT whatever Insurance he has covers everything. And #3. Don't necessarily take him at his Word as to WHY he left... He's in a battle for his LIFE here- and I'm sure he'd rather spend more of it at HOME, than defending an unpopular Administration just now... Can you blame him?

If the man has the ability to earn more, why shouldn't he? Who cares what most people can do? I'll be broke my whole life most likely. Why should it bother me how much Tony Snow or anyone else makes?

He lives in the DC metro area, very costly.

College for three kids, that's going to cost him a small fortune.

He's entitled to have whatever job he so chooses.

He's dealing with cancer, he still has tumors and must continue with treatment. perhaps he's just trying to make sure he has provide well for his family...if the unfortunate happens and his cancer gets worse.

Looks like he's gonna be dead soon, and he didn't even have to suck on Nugents gun or eat any of Coulters rat poison.

It's a shame his last job ever will be lying for bush, but I guess it paid well.

$158,000. in Washington, DC politics is not much. Who do you think buys all the suits he has to wear? Who do you think buys the decent clothing his wife would have to wear? Who do you think pays his mortgage? He has many unseen expenses that we know nothing about. Daddy always said, don't judge a man until you have walked a mile in his shoes.
