I know I ask a lot of questions, but will you help me out at least once more? I need to know what the basic art supplies I need are if I want to draw manga, and where I can get them for the best prices. I'm on kind of a tight budget. What I basically need are good quality inking pens with ultra fine points and possibly copic markers, but if there's other stuff I need, please tell me.

On the markers, you MAY want to consider Prismacolor markers, as opposed to the copics. They have much the same effect, and cost half the price. The only difference, is that they're more easily available Stateside, and you can't refill them. Buy them on an as-needed basis, as the sets will cost you an arm and a leg. DO NOT be afraid to use cheap markers on the side, because to my knowledge, no marker brand truly covers EVERY hue of every color.

Ink is up to you. Michael's sells some good rapidograph pens in their drafting section (they come in little plastic cases with black backs, and clear fronts, and a bottle of ink to refill them), but they can be expensive if you're starting out. I actually am quite fond of using dip pens with bottled ink, but they will take alot of getting used to. Avoid micron pens and their ilk, the felt tips will wear down too fast.

You'll need pencils for sketching. Some people insist on the "non-photo" blue pencils, but I find them more hassle than they're worth. I just use mechanical pencils with an HB 0.5mm lead, drawing lightly and erasing once the ink is dry.

A word on paper: Use THICK paper. We're talking, Bristol paper or non-laminated cardstock. Otherwise, Prismacolors and copics WILL bleed through!

Finally, websites. Dick Blick is always good ( http://www.dickblick.com/ ) as they give fast service and their prices are cheaper than most anyone else. Your local Michael's and Aaron Brothers are also good choices ( http://www.michaels.com/art/online/home and http://www.aaronbrothers.com/ ). I highly suggest checking out your local stores first, though, because when you need something, you are going to need it RIGHT THEN, otherwise you'll have to wait for stuff to ship.

....and who wants to wait a week and a half, just to finish one bloody picture, right?

If you pick up a book on drawing manga, or even check some online tutorials, they should have all of the materials you would need listed.

For art supplies I would recommend Blick Art Materials (Dick Blick). It's a fantastic store with everything you could possibly want/need, and the prices are very competitive. My last go they had everything I needed in stock, which I found quite impressive (it was enough to fill 2 boxes). After shipping it was still cheaper than going to the art stores around me, not to mention far less of a hassle.

Panda, I like the on line art catalogs, like Cheap Joe's (cheapjoes.com.) This is the least expensive of the art supply catalogs or art stores that I have ever found. But art materials are never cheap. It's a challenge for all of us.

Two good places for cartoonists to shop:
Check out Bluelinepro.com and Utrecht.com. Both sell the kinds of materials you'll need, and Blueline pro specializes in cartoonists tools, colors, boards, papers, etc., as well as a slew of how-to-books.

A good arts and crafts supply store will be able to point you in the right direction.

Yeah, somewhere like Michaels, Utrecht, or A.C. Moore, if you have any of those where you live.
