But just this once.

Convert pounds to kilograms, multiply by pesos per kilogram, divide by pesos per dollar, multiply by 100 (cents/dollar)

Possible answers: 98, 187, 232, 301

1 Kilogram = 2.20462 Pounds
so 0.45 pounds = 0.204 Kg

1 Kg = 125 pesos
0.204 Kg = 25.5 pesos

1 dollar = 100 cents
11 peso = 100 cents = 1 dollar
25.5 pesos = 25.5x 100 / 11
= 231.81
= approx 232 cents

alright dude,

This is problem on unit conversion. ALso you need to do is know the exchange rates and its easy.

FIrst start at the avocado. It weighs .45 lb * (1 kg / 2.2 Ib) = .2045 kg.

now, .2045 kg * (125 pesos / kg) = cost of 25.568 pesos

therefore cost in american dollars is:

25.568 pesos * (1 dollar / 11 pesos) = 2.32 $

Easy? This problem trains you to convert units by multiplying it by a conversion factor.

Say you have 2 ft and need inches.
Therefore:
2 ft * (12 inches / 1 ft) = 24 inches. Get it. You are multiply what you have by a conversion factor of (12 inches / 1 ft ), but not the other way around (1 ft / 12 inches), because you need to cancel out ft.
