OMG IM SUCH A DUFUS
Rain, sleet, hail, or snow
You were there for me and its good to know
that rain, sleet, hail, or snow...
You will be the one that will pick me if i fall
the one that does not care if im fat, skinny, short or tall,
Who helps me when things are not going as planned
the one that helps me when my life feels jammed.
You tell me things will be alright
when all i feel is i have to fight.'
You always help me think things through,
before i act, which i usually dont do.
You cry with me,
smile with me,
The best friend i will EVER have.
the best friend thats GREAT to have.

Rain,sleet,hail,or snow
You will always be there, and that's good to know
Your the one who will break my fall
Whether I'm short, fat, thin, or tall
The one who helps me when things aren't as planned
Yet your there for me when I'm in a jam
You always tell me things will be alright
Even when we scream, and fight
You try and help me think things through
Yet you never judge like most people do
You cry with me
I lend a hand
Knowing we're the best friends, that any one, could ever have

You were on the rite path.
Don't try so hard.
Let your words flow.
Good job!
I hope I didn't change it to much.
Same meaning though.

These other posters are being cruel. I think if you are trying to write a poem with rhyme and beat, you aren't doing it.
However, you may have better luck with free verse.

Keep trying and don't let the "perfectionists" get you down. Carl Sandburg didn't give up and neither should you. Look up some of his writrings. Everyone thought he was way off center at first and now he's one of America's best in history.

"EVERYBODY loved Chick Lorimer in our town.
Far off
Everybody loved her.
So we all love a wild girl keeping a hold
On a dream she wants.
Nobody knows now where Chick Lorimer went.
Nobody knows why she packed her trunk .. a few old things
And is gone,
Gone with her little chin
Thrust ahead of her
And her soft hair blowing careless
From under a wide hat,
Dancer, singer, a laughing passionate lover."

Sounds like a few, heck, a number of the matters we've got had. Don't overlook heavy obligation cord coat hangers to preserve up sagging mufflers. Smart gal, you're, understand "not anything." I like it, & sure he did. Chewing gum, neat.
