I'm going to need to ship my car from Texas to Pennsylvania and was wondering if anyone knew of any good, reliable companies and average cost.

Thanks!

The average price is fifty cents per mile. If you are shipping from Texas look into a company named DAS (Dependable Auto Shippers).

Mayflower moving. Most companies that move "stuff" also move cars. Not sure about the costs. Probably based on weight more than anything.

I used to weigh all kinds of loads at Mayflower when the corporate HQ was here in Indiana (Carmel, IN). Never asked the price per car. Oops.

Good Luck!

Don't do it. I'm an original Texan and I've lived in Pittsburgh and now live in philly. Stay in Texas, people are nicer, it's cleaner, cheaper to live, but if you must find out for yourself go with mayflower.

You could try posting your shipment on UShip.com. UShip is a partner with ebay, and it's free to post shipments and request bids for transporting goods, including automobiles.
