What would the rammifications be if the USA attacked Iran?
What would be the consequences if the americans attacked Iran say with a missle? How would Iran respond?

Let's start with the fact that our military is currently significantly over-extended and exhausted -- and that we're currently sacrificing the health of our troops, ignoring enlistment contracts, and sending wounded solidiers back into the field just to keep our current efforts.
Attacking a third country -- one with a much larger standing army than Iraq currently has -- would require at least 50% increase in available troops -- we just don't have that, and any attempt at a draft is likely to provoke a revolt given how many people are unhappy with politicians right now.
But, even if we could somehow manage to find the troops -- and don't mind doubling the national deficit by borrowing even more money from China -- it would be disastrous.
Not only would the US prove itself (once again) to be a country that unilaterally invades sovereign nations just because we don't like them -- which will cause other countries to hate us even more -- but it would likely plummet the entire region into a sustained conflict that would quickly spiral into WW3.
In short, it would massively cripple the US military for years (if not decades), cause world opinion to firmly turn against us for decades more -- and there is absolutely no benefit or upside.

First of all. That's a silly question. If we attacked Iran it would definitely have to be a first strike full nuclear deployment.
The rest of the region will be really ticked off at us.
The Russians will probably launch on us, the Chinese on the Russians and India and Pakistan on each other.
Iran would respond by nuking Israel and parts of Western Europe, Britain would retaliate as well as Germany, and pretty much the entire northern hemisphere will glow for a very long time.

I've been asking tons of questions about reality myself just lately, so spotted this. There is a reality of penalties... kids are very well at gambling the video games of outcome and finding out reason and final result. A stalemate for like a year and then we pull out. Iran doesn't have the capacity to attack us. They do however have the ability to defend there selfs...Our government would quickly realize this and call for a truce.

i think this will start WW3 (NUCLEAR WAR),cuz Iran,as we all know, became nuclear country.
it has great army,warrior ppl,not afraid of anything when they fight 4 their belifs or their nation.

but u know wut? i think USA is afraid of Iran and can not do any thing about it,especially right now in its weakest level ever.
