I live in Australia, and if I had the money, I would certainly send you the best bunch of flowers imaginable....you deserve it. How sad that your husband has taken you for granted so much. Isnt it sad when you have so much more to give and your partner is not responding? A lot of marriages go that way, and its not until something terrible happens (like one spouse cheating) for them to realise there is a problem. But cheating is bad, no matter how horrible and neglectful a partner chooses to treat you. You are the bad one....but they forget the saying "cause and effect". I dont think anyone deliberately goes out and cheats. I think it is an accumulation of years of neglect and/or abuse. I dont think the answer is in cheating, but it certainly makes me angry when the "cheater" is accused of all sorts of things, even though the "cheater" is really the victim. I guess you can choose to be a victim and allow yourself to be neglected or you can make him wake up to himself and tell him that you are not prepared to be neglected anymore. You do have control over this situation....you have just forgotten where you left your self esteem.....take care.

Sorry to tell you girls that but some guys buy flowers no matter how long you have been together. I do get them on anniversaries, on my birthdays, and for no occasion. There are a lot of nice guys out there, and the reality is not that guys don't buy flowers but that you didn't marry one of the ones who do!

Maybe he does other nice things that usually other guys don't do? I am sorry to hear it. So don't beat up yourself, buy flowers for yourself instead! I do sometimes that too.

Congratulations on 6 years of wedded bliss (I hope).
If I could afford to I would send you 6 dozen long stemmed red roses (organic, or course) promptly.
My advice is: buy flowers for yourself whenever you feel the need and when your groom sobers up, have a chat with him regarding his inability to see what's important to YOU and promise to celebrate EVERY anniversary with some kind of celebration to mark the event: dinner, a bottle of champagne (he'd like that) and maybe some chocolate covered strawberries.
Good luck!

So what makes you think that you deserve flowers?? If you can come up with a decent answer then go get them yourself. What exactly did you get him for the anniversary?? Yeah, just what I thought, two bags of nothing. No wonder the poor guy is home drunk , you crushed him with your lack of compassion . You chicks in Taylor-Tucky are all alike.

I'm sorry that your husband is so inconsiderate. I wanted to get my wife flowers for our anniversary, but we just didn't have the money for it, but we got to spend a nice day together for our anniversary and had a nice dinner at home.

Sorry that your husband is being so selfish and thinking only of himself. Sounds like he needs a slap of reality in the face.

This guy doesn't sound like he's worth having around. Get a lawyer before you're complaining on a 20th anniversary. Life's too short.

Anniversaries aren't important to some men....when he is sober tell him that you 're pi&&ed. Either he makes it right or he doesn't.....you have to decide if the rest of the year he is a better husband than he was on your anniversary. If the answer is "no" you have to decide if you can put up with him or not.Sorry he was a schmuck on your anniversary.

6 Years? If you don't get any response from Y/A {:-D, Have some flowers sent to HIM at his expense then take a friend to a nice resturant at HIS expense(assuming his credit card has room for it). When you get home, ask him if he enjoyed the flowers then tell him how much you enjoyed dinner. If he says anything, tell him to cry in his beer bottle.

I would suggest that you go to marriage counseling..are children involved?..If not, do like Montel says "Kick him to the curb"! Drinking does not get better with time..sounds like my last marriage...glad I'm out of there!...
