I think his hypocrisy is deplorable. I'm interested to see if he's even the slightest bit penitent tomorrow, or if he still dares to drone on about the "witch-hunt".
As for the future, I would hope he divorces his wife in honest recognition of his true self, gives her nearly all his money, and finds a nice partner with whom he can settle down and spend his days in peaceful obscurity. But he'll probably keep living the lie and, yes, become a filthy rich Washington lobbyist.
Either way, I doubt he'll be very popular in Idaho from now on.

i think it is a shame the way he bashed Bill Clinton and then turns around and pulls a stunt like this. I am in no way a supporter of Clinton, but this is a shame. At least Bill had a woman. It is a digrace to the people of Idaho and the entire country. This is not representative of the GOP anymore so than if he were a Democrat. He should spend the rest of his days fishing and hunting. Idaho is great for both. Otherwise, move to San Francisco where he won't have to hide in the toilet to get his jollies.

I think he should resign, since he will have a hard time being effective after this. The people of Idaho deserve a Senator who is not a laughing stock.
As for what's next, he will probably retire from public life completely. What's Tom Foley doing these days?

His next Step- is Obscurity. His latest Step (resignation)- was chosen FOR him. And the Step BEFORE that (pleading guilty to get the Charge "behind him") was a STUPID one. God Save the GOP! :)

I think his action showed hypocrisy and a desperate urge to actually do something so anonymous and potentially dangerous (I feel sorry for him on this point but not for the hypocrisy).
I am sure he will make millions of dollars as a lobbyist.

I think he should stay in office.
So he wanted to get/give someone the business in a mens restroom, big deal! Sure that is a classless action and scummy, but when I think of our glorious leaders who take money from lobbyists, feed us lines of BS, and send us to die over BS, I think of someone like Craig, a classless scum bag on his knees in a men's restroom!
Wake up you stupid azzez! Republicans are not "Holy sanctified X-tians" and Democrats are not "The Defenders of the poor," they are both scum bags! Lying, Cheating, Thieving, Murdering, Betraying, SCUMBAGS!
