Wait until the evening or morning when it is still cool and they are not so active and have returned to their nest. Spray with the foaming kind of wasp killer to trap them. Once sprayed the nest is over and you can knock it down the next day. Do not spray them at noon when they are active. Whatever you do, spray and RUN!!!!

Try to get your hands on an INDUSTRIAL STRENGTH wasp spray, like Zeni-max.
Stand 10-15 ft from the nest, spray the nest until it is soaked, spray any remaining wasps, then knock the nest down and throw it away.
Good luck!

Unless you are allergic to them, I would just get a good store brand of spray and spray the wasps. Find the nest and knock it down and destroy it. Watch, they may try to build it back, but it will save you money if you do it yourself.

I wouldn't spray them and make them cranky ! they will still have enough life for a while to attack you. Either pay the proffesionals or do as I did....its was scarey but worked well. Roll up a newspaper, set fire to end, go up the nest and burn the wings off the little shits, they just fall to the ground, then set fire to the hive, you end up with shakey knees, but it works!. But the proffesionals probably is the best idea. I'd hate for you to do what I did and get stung
