ignorance is bliss. when you die, you won't know it. you won't even know that you won't know it. you won't know you're missing anything, you won't know that you won't know you're missing anything. you won't even be able to think "hey it really is hot here!" just... nothing.

thought is a tool of the brain. our bodies have learned that our brain works fine just the way it is. "just the way it is" is with thought and emotions. emotions we could all do without. they don't matter anyways, and it would definitely help with logical decisions (asker: if you notice my answer to your other question, notice what I said about family).

that's emotions covered. thought is simply a series of unending information that gets sent to our brain by out body, to tell out brain to do things. we don't truly have free will. our brains are going to tell our body what it wants. it's going to tell your subconscience that you are depressed and it would be better to commit suicide. it tells your body that you should kick that ball in just this way to make it go where you want. this is just your brain getting information, and making more information out of it. as you can see, some of this information is imperfect. thought does not have any importance. based on what my brain knows, and what it is telling my finger muscles to tell my fingers to hit these keys, there is nothing special about the brain, other than it is the most complex known structure in the universe. the things we call thoughts are just the result of billions upon billions upon billions infinity connections between our neurons.

it does make a difference in our lives. our thoughts are informations our brain has concluded. this gives the brain more information to sort through. if we didn't make this thought, our brain couldn't have made that thought, meaning that this thought would have been made instead of that though, thus disregarding that thought......... every thought affects every other thought. our brain interprets our "thoughts" which are just information, and turns them into actions. so it does have an effect on our lives.

it is not just fantasy. it is a fantasy to think that you are a unique human being. you are no different than anyone else. your brain received different information, and you have different genes. big deal. you and I are the same. we are both able to change thoughts into actions. I may be able to do more calculations per second than you (just an example, you could easily be smarter than I am) but that is because my brain is programmed that way. the only reason you would rather go outside and play rather than practice trig problems is because your brain has been programmed that way.

good advice: stay away from philosophy. it will reeeeally mess with your brain =)

Importance? I suppose that would matter what you thought about. If you are standing on a street corner curb and there is traffic and you would like to cross the street, your thoughts would be very important to your physical well-being. If you see an ad on television for a product you don't need or want, your thoughts would not be important to the advertiser and would only be a waste of time and mind for you. Make sense?

If you had gone to school,and learned something,you'd know!

And this is precisely why ive asked a "school" question

just now; most of us dont even realise that out school-and

-darwin-ist teaching,is still being"enforced"by college and

higher education too.

So you could really have answered this type of question

(and you and others should learn to answer this type

without wasting valuable time)with two little words;

Answer= Get lost !!

thought is critical in our lifes. our behaviors follow our thoughts. if you think "that person is mean" you will probably avoid them. if you think that you are ugly, it also influences how you act. if i think "oh, i better let the cat in" it's likely that action will follow. if i think "pie has a lot of calories" then it's more likely i won't order it. thought is a precourser to many of our actions. that's why changing your thinking will change your life. if you think "oh they will never hire me" it is more likely to come true than if you feel confident. assumingyou're well qualified of course. thinking won't improve your chances if you don't take actionl. thinking without action is more of a fantasy
"i should do my homework" but then you don't.
if you think "i hate doing homework" you may be less likely to do it than if you think "i want to do my homework quickly to make a good grade and for my future"
you get the idea.

our thoughts make us who we are. our thoughts are where everything happens. if you kept thinking one way it would influence you to act a certain way.

it's an interesting question for class... :P
