To the one guy.. Why is exotic the way to go???
2.3 seconds 0-60mph for a car in that price range in not too great IMHO.
The 1988 camaro I built with a N/A 355 small block for under $12,000 does 3.2 seconds 0-60 mph, 11.40's @ 118 mph in the 1/4 mile and I had it to 172 MPH so far with alot more left in her.
As far as fastest street cars.. Look up NMCA, NHRA, etc.. There's street legal, street class nova's, camaro's, chevelle's, mustangs, etc etc in the 8 second range in the 1/4 mile on street tires and in the 6's in the 1/4 mile on slicks.
1/4 mile trap speeds as fast as the exotic cars top speed.
As far as OEM cars.. The seleen, and other exotic cars, viper, and corvette z06 are the fastest ones.. Most in the low 11's second 1/4 mile

Bugatti Veyron 16.4 does 0-60 in 2.3 seconds, top speed 260 MPH. All of those muscle car fans, exotic is the way to go. They are FASTER. Except for Saleen Special Vehicles modified Mustangs. I hear they are some quick pieces of machinery.

As I recall, it is or was a twin turbo charged '57 Chevy some guy put together. I think it had a big block engine like a 409-454 in it as well.
I don't know if anyone has built one faster in recent years.

It is the Bugatti Veyrone- I want one that's Black/Red. If I won the lottery I'd have that car!!!!!!! Check out motor trend about it. It is truly an amazing piece of machinery.
