I'm doing a thing for sex edcation at my school and i really need to know what most men would do. i think most would bail or tell her to get an abortion. Am i right. I need this for class.

I would raise my child.

However, that doesn't mean I would stay with the mother but I would want to try to keep a good relationship at least for the child's sake.

I think it's odd you think most men would bail or ask for an abortion.

I think people tend to focus on the negative and not the positives in life. It just stands out more when you have a dead beat dad but no one writes about the father of the year.

Too vague of a question. What age are we talking here? Is the couple 15 or 28?
Are they in love or was this just a fling?
If the man bails, the female has legal recourse to make him pay until the child is 18.......If I didn't love her and couldn't talk her into an abortion, I'd either get prepared for 18 years of financial support or I'd buy a good pair of Nike's and head for Canada.

I had the exact same thing happen to me when i was 19 years old. I would like to tell you that it was all happily ever after but..... I do know that what the guy does definately depends on his maturity and age. My second child was tottaly an accident aswell b ut i can tell you this, I am a proud father of four Three of wich are of the same mother that i am still with now and i would not give up a single moment of any of their lives for everything else i EVER wanted including their mother

First to M M, it's not her baby only, you idiot. It also belongs to the man who got her pregnant. I hate wimps like you who like to kiss women's a$$es. Second, I believe they need to make a law that prohibits women bitc*hes from getting pregnant whenever they like by whomever they like. The decision to create a life should be taken by both the man and the woman. A woman shouldn't be allowed to make a decision that would alter the life of a man for the rest of his life even though he had no say in it, just because she felt like having a baby. Have sex after married, then you will be free from that trouble.

Second: We live in a world where not enough guys have the balls to face up to the responsibility of unplanned parenthood. But they're quick to practice the technique.
