I was brainstorming for shows that were around when I was a child, and I can remember captain planet, mr squiggle and a few other shows.
But there are a few that I can't remember the title of.
I'm stumped on a particular one.

"AAHH, REAL MONSTERS". The monster you are talking about is Krumm. There was also Ickus and Oblina. Those were the days when Nick had some good cartoons.

You are thinking of "AAAHH!!! Real Monsters". The name of the eyeball-holding guy is Krumm. I remember that show.
