Personally, I think it won't end for a few hudred years now. I als belive that God won't destroy all life-He will save all animals and plants and good people, destroy only the wicked and the weapons and sin.

But the Myans predicted it to end (and be reborn) on 12-12-2012.
Newton, one of the most brilliant minds ever, predicted we will be here till atleast 2060.
What do you think?

When the Sun turns into a Red Giant an heats up the Earth until it is inhabitable...thats when the world will end.

12-12-2012 seems just unreasonable because it seems to be based on numbers which really have hardly any real impact on our society. If we had a different rule of calenders (such as moon chart calenders) then I doubt it would be valid at all.

I agree with Newton. He was one of the greatest minds of this world and I think that he was correct in assumption. With the bumblebee population decreasing so quickly, which Newton also predicted would end the world, I think Newton is pretty damn close to the truth. If not a little later since we're getting better and faster at technology.

When global warming has done all the damage to the
earth that it possibly can, then there will be no life on
the planet which is third in line from the star we know
as "The Sun"; not to be confused in any way, shape
or form with "The Son."
But, that will take a lot longer than any scientist could
possibly hope to accurately predict.
It's not something worth worrying about. Besides, in
the words of Cat Stevens: "But, I might die tonight."

When I was little girl I was told that earth would burn up at the end. Now I'm starting to believe there might be some logic to this after all, since earth is moving closer to the sun. I agree with you, I don't think the earth will be totally destroyed, but will be made new. That's just my own theory. I don't think this will happen in our life time.

What if the beginning of the end came about two weeks from now? Would you be ready for it? If something happened that He might just have to cut the days off, "lest no flesh be saved alive," because of a great terrorist attack on the US and Israel that would cause everything to go 'helter skelter.'

''What if something was about to blow, and all around, people were getting visions and dreams about it, but you were too busy scoffing so that no one felt like telling you about it? (Not you personally, of course.)

Then again, what if nothing happens, and everything is just like where everything is headed? Would you like that?

i belive the world will end the way the bible predicts it, the time is short because of the war, disease, hatred, greed, lack of natural resource and just anything that humans do to make thing worse in the world. the thing that feels good makes the world a worse and scary place to be and something is bound to happen but the million dollar question is when.

I don't know ... people says different stories it depends what side your own either you believe the bible and think its going to end 12-12-2012 or you believe Science witch says its gena end from all the pollution and the smoke from vehicles .. and stuff. Theres a video on that.. forget what its called sorry. Um but really i think im going to go with science and trust it we never met god and we can't just think its going to end by someone who made the bible i don't think god made it but its alright if you believe in that stuff. Really, once the problem gets big everyones gena stop all the air pollution and it wont end in a long time once the sun goes down. Anyways thats what i think!

Newton, on of the more brilliant minds of his time......keep that in mind.

The world will end when: you pass away either from old age, or an auto accident, or a mishap at home(where most accidents happen). Then (for you)it really doesn't matter anymore.

I believe World War Three will be the end of us. There are so many angry and crazed people in charge of the world today.
More and more are obtaining nuclear arms. One nut case and the game over. There are so many things going on behind closed doors. One mistake is all it takes :(
I believe this could happen at anytime.

Oh, please.....

EVERYTHING in the universe comes to and end at some point.

The earth will become uninhabitable when our sun wears out. Scientifically, there are several billions of years left.

God, the Mayans nor anyone else has anything to do with it. It is simple science.
