I am simply asking for opinions only.. im not trying to complain about my dress code im just asking..
anyway
what do you think about this:
my school has enforced a stricter dress code this year compared to last year stating that our school is looking more like something associated with "gang activity" even tho i personally didnt think we dressed bad.. only some.. but anyway by what the word is around the school and such, doesnt really make sense to me
first, we were required to wear "collared shirts" collar can also include like regular t-shirts with the thing around the neck or basically covering the chest and up to the neck.
then i hear we can not wear just plain t-shirts. so im guessing it HAS to say something? i cant find a dress code online soo im just stating a couple
so what is your take? is there a way i can try to make them more leniant? petitions or whatever?

Until parents can learn what is appropriate and what is not, how are they supposed to teach their children? I see adult men dressing like idiots. They wear their pants so loose they have to hold them up? They look like Joe Sh_t the rag man. I used to have to go get my daughter from middle school and I REALLY found it disturbing that a grown man would find the girls working in the admin. office attractive. Twelve going on twenty five! My wife's exhusbands's wife dresses like a two bit tramp. You would expect her kids to dress any better? It has to begin somewhere.

My school doesn't really have a dress code, as long as your clothes aren't too short and you aren't wearing a hat. Seriously. Not even grooming or anything. Everyone's like, a walking advert for Manic Panic dye. Anyway.

That's not so strict, lots of things can be cute with a collar. Petitioning is a waste of time. I've petitioned many a cause in my day and...no, it just don't work unless you've been wrongly punished for something. Not just a pointless complaint for cosmetic/fashion reasons. Just wear polos under all your normal shirts.

"You can make a petition, if you want to know how to make a petition go online and find somewhere that tells you how to make a good petition. That dress code is pretty strict, but it's better than uniforms, trust me! "

dresscodes are so STUPID...we can't wear ripped jeans because they might get caught on something and we could like.. fall down a cliff or something. at least your school doesn't make you wear your ID cards around your necks.. schools are becoming more and more like prisions. peace
