I asked a question about my starter 2 days ago. i got a lot of answers, THANKS, but got nothing resolved. "Motorcycle fell and hit the right side on the sidewalk, and now it wont start up. It has a full tank, but want make a noise. Lights, horn, and everything else seems to be working." Apparently it doesnt have a kill switch. All wires appear to be intact. Battery is new, seems fine. It has been no less than 4 days since the "acciedent", and I have tried to start it at least once a day. It seems to make absolutely no atempt to start when I try. I dont see any fuses out, and has a full tank of gas. No clue what to do next, but i have tried everything suggested. Please help!!!

kill switch is most likely grounding out. wires might look ok, but verify with a meter. if they're grounding, the bike wont run. it will look at it as the kill switch is turned off, not on.

is it free to kick ,Choke and start, if it doesnt work, see if the ignition swithch is ok try out the lights that go on once the ignition switch is on, else, may be the carburetor is choked (or) one of your spark plug cables could be internally damaged, did you check for a spark ? If you get a spark and your carbeuretor is good then , check whether ur other lights etc are working , just to make sure the the power is transmitter throug out. , see if the exhaust is ok,

If you said what the model of the bike is it may give a better idea than a lot of people just guessing. It literally could be anything from a hidden loose electrical connection or vacuum hose (if your bike has that type of fuel tap). I have seen a lot of weird things effect bikes and everyone is different.

Motorcycles have had kill switches for longer than I can remember. In addition to the kill switch, you should have one or two others that will do the same thing: Clutch lever switch, and sidestand switch.

Really tough to figure out without looking at it. If you have tried all the obvioius things and can't figure it out, take it to a dealer to get checked out so you don't screw anything up.

Most likely, they'll look at it and have it fixed in 5 minutes, and you'll be saying: "DUH! I should have checked that!"
