I have linked the piece of writing (below) to my blog because it is way too long to include here:

http://meanderingtrevor.blogspot.com/2007/08/this-is-love-kiddo.html

Comments much appreciated. It has been accepted for publishing but I feel it needs criticism before the deadline.

All comments, positive and negative, gratefully received.

It's written in UK spelling so as it is different from USA spelling as it will be going into a mag in the UK in November. The magazine will be covering issues of bereavement, friendship and unrequited love.

I found it quite interesting. I'm sorry for the loss of Steve. :( And for you not being able to have this other person you have fallen for. I really could feel your emotions through your writing, and it made me want to read more, so I thought you did a very good job. :) I am however, very sorry for the bad luck you seem to be having. I wish you better luck. :)

It was beautiful and it for sure will keep the attention of whoever reads it. You can see the story playing out in your head, from the beginning to the end. It was great writing but it had so much of one persons emotion that it can overwhelming in a way.
