When I was younger, I couldn't wait to grow up. Now that I stand where I am, I don't want to go backwards. I am happy to be where I am for the moment, for I do not know what lies ahead, and I do not want to be where I was. I may be unhappy, but I think I may be happier than I realize. I certainly have a LOT to be thankful for.

I am leaning more toward older and successful, but younger and carefree sounds like the life too...

I actually wish for both sometimes, depending on my mood and what's going on in my life. I'm 26 right now, in an entry level job and am in grad school studying for my MSW. On the one hand, I wish I could push time forward so I could be finished with school and in a job where I'm happier, can do more of what I want and get paid more for it. On the other hand, I do miss my early 20s (21ish would be a good age) because I had no responsibilities except for school and I could pretty much do whatever I wanted, whenever I wanted. However, I do have to say my life is pretty good at the moment as well, so I can't complain too much :)

I wish that I was younger and a total slut! I had too many responsibilities when I was younger and now I'm too old!
