I mean, it was just a TV show, and now she has a contract for five records, she's going on tour, and she even has a perfume coming out. Am I the only one who thinks it's getting out of hand?

In response to the first person, she is different than them. Her dad has been a star since before she was born.
Think about Hilary Duff. Hilary Duff started on the Disney channel. So did Miley. Sure...the Disney stars get blown out of hand, but that happens. High School Musical...all I hear about.
She might end up like them, but probably not. She grew up in the limelight, so to speak.

I dont htink so.I mean she has alot of fans.shes a teen popstar and a good singer and entertainer.And Her dad wont let things and fame over run her.Hes a good dad and will look out for her.And I realy think your cool but please worry about things other than people because how would you feel with people calling you a slut just cause you bacame popular annd a popstar that kids love.So what.Its not our matter.But thats her matter and we dont know what the future holds.This isnt a lecture but it isnt our matter.

wow, i absolutely agree .
i don't get what everyone sees in her, i don't think she's a talented musician, that pretty, or has that great of a personality .
I'm also so sick of kids posting questions on yahoo asking if anyone knows hannah montana's number or where she lives, really creepy questions like that .
people need to realize celebrities are just ordinary people, when i saw my first concert i was expecting this amazing star but it turns out he was just a normal guy on stage .

Clearly you haven't noticed how Disney Channel takes care of their "stars"? Almost every popular kid on that channel has/had at least one television show or movie then comes out with a song and it's all history from there.

She looks like a chipmunk. She's nothing special, just an epitomization of the culture. She's a dime a dozen, and as soon as America's done with her, they're going to toss her out and pick up the next chipmunk face that's waiting in line.

I've a teen age daughter and so, I was force fed four hours of it the other night. I've heard her sing a capella -- she can't. tells me, that unless it's written for her and she is without a sound engineer, she's pretty much just another cute face.
