I call them on it all the time........I hate that crap. It also stops them from telling you more. But it is kind of fun watching them backpedal.

i don't ever have a conversation with them again if I can help it. If it is someone I know I will call them on it. If it someone I have to see then I try to be with them as little as possible and if they ask why I will tell them the truth as I see it.

I ask questions so I can hear them corner themselves, then I just smile and chuckle to myself. If it is something that gets on my nerves though I'd tell them that I don't understand how that could be possible.
