I like it.. that was one of my name choices.. I was going to spell it Emmalin, Emalyn, or Emmalyn... But very pretty either way, nonetheless

You want to know something funny? My name is Briana and my mother's name is Patti. Anyway I think the name is really pretty. Emma is beautiful, usually I'm not a fan of Lynn but it sounds/looks okay this way, and of course I love Brianna. The whole name might be a bit of a mouthful though. Maybe it could just be Emma Lynn, Emma Brianna or Emma Lynn Bree. It is a nice name, good luck!

To be honest, I'm not into Emma-Lynn. The hyphenation is unnecessary, and will cause problems in the future (not all official forms, especially computerized ones, allow for punctuation within a name). Also, it seems you've basically combined the two most popular names of the last DECADE -- Emily and Emma -- and attempted to somehow make them unique, which they are not.

You may, however, like Emmeline or Emeline (said EM-e-leen). Very close to what you seem to be going for, plus they're real names without the hassle of mid-name punctuation and capitalization. Just a thought! ;)

Brianna is very dated. It's been fairly common for quite some time, and just seems, well, boring now. As if you chose the name for your CPK back in 1987 and decided to stick with it now that you're of child-bearing age, know what I mean?

Hope that helps!

Emma-Lynn is a very pretty name, but not with Brianna.. I think maybe Lynn could be used as the middle name.. But just remember it's up to you, not your family's..

It's just too much. Hyphened names are just going to be a pain in the bum for the kid later on. How about Emily Brianna, or Emma Lynn?

I like the Emma part and a I think the Lynn part is ok. Brianna is ok, too. So, I guess I like Emma-Lynn better than Brianna.
