what happens when your cell phone is submerged in water?

It probably won't work anymore. Especially if the water is boiling.

It'll get water in all of the openings and slowly damage your phone to the point where it doesn't work anymore.

The Chlorine & the impurities in the water- will render the cell phone- useless. :(

First it gets wet, then it goes snap crackle and pop. Then it doesn't work anymore.
