I love little meerkats. Even before the Lion King or Meerkat Manor. The first time I ever saw one "live and in person" was at Busch Gardens in Tampa. They kept them in a glass enclosure next to one of the river rapid rides.
When I found out they had them at the Animal Kingdom at Disney World, it was the first exhibit I sought out on my first visit.

I think they're pretty amazing little brutes.
They are so tiny, but so mighty!
It's amazing to see them "take on" a snake.
I love that they "baby sit". How on earth do they decide who stays? They have to communicate with each other so that there's no "Well, I thought you were gonna stay..."
