Yep, twice in my life, it was so much fun, and one was a real steam train in Canada.

Yup, once in Griffith Park in Los Angeles, but it was a kiddie choo-choo train.

Ahhhhh,,,sweet memories in Miami in Crandon Park they have the best one,,,it goes thru trails and has a talking Choo -choo engineer,,,, Everyone is happy and the laughter and squeals of the children are delightful. Thanks for making me remember those dear outings with family.

Yup, this past March. Took 4 days to go from WI to MA. Bus can do it in 3! Not likely again in the near future.

Yes, I use to ride on the train all the time when I was a child and then a few years ago I went on the train to the Grand Canyon.

Not as much as I wished. If I had known that steam engines were just a passing fancy, I would have ridden on them more before the commuter rails got electrified trains.

You know I have...You will not believe this but when I was in the 4th grade at the tiny school I went to, we had train tracks right next to the school. Our 4th grade school teacher took us on a train ride to the next town and we had a picnic (for our field trip). We thought it was grand. You have to remember that was many, many, many, many, many years ago! And that was the OLD passenger train not the kind they have today!!
