You need to check your weight distribution. We had the same problem a few years ago and didn't realize how much weight we had in the rear of the RV. The front end was way too light, causing steering problems. Also get a good front end alignment, better yet, get an all around alignment, both axles.

When you have a large recreational vehicle, there are a number of things that are quite different from normal 'car' driving. The height of the vehicle makes crosswinds dangerous, and you already know about swinging wide to make right turns.

In addition, the sheer size of the vehicle makes it necessary for the steering to have pinpoint accuracy - you don't want to 'almost' make it between those fuel pumps.

You can take it to the Airstream dealer (or any reputable RV shop) and have the steering 'tightened up' if you'd be more comfortable that way.

Good luck.

"toe in"
Someone probably bumped a curb and through the alignment out.

Positive toe, or toe in, is the front of the wheel pointing in towards the centreline of the vehicle.

ADDED:
I forgot to mention you have the front wheels aligned at a shop.
