So I have this female friend. We had a few fights and stuff at the end of last school year. And we needed to be away from each other. She said to give her the summer to cool down and we could be friends this year again. We basically did not talk all summer. So it's been a week since school started and she's seen me around and is in one class also. She looks at me occasionally, but she hasn't said a word to me yet. Should I wait it out and let her come back to me or should I bring up the topic with her?

Make the first move. Ask her to have a coke and a chat. You pay. Relationship and friendship problems are sometimes about control issues. Try to like her for who she is whether its what you prefer or not. Have other friends also. No one friend can be everything to us!

shes showing that she does not want to be friends and i think you should take the cue apparently those fights were of some value and maybe if was by you and you were right mabye? so i would think to move on get some other friends and move on with it and dont' give her another thought you have not lost someone that is good i believe.

She might be embarrassed for her actions from last year. Make the first move, strike a conversation, or your gonna kiss your friendship goodbye.
