I used to have the same problem before going on the pill. Now my bleeding is not as bad, but I still gotta have the wings if I can't have a tampon.

Yes I have to use Always with wings or for some reason it seems to go everywhere I think the wings wrap around and help hold the pad in place.

I don't remember a time when I've used pads without the wings, unless I'm stuck getting a pad from a vending machine, in which case, those are way too bulky and they suck. Always with wings are the best! And the thinner ones are so comfortable!

I have exactly the same problem! My sister uses the without wings, but I can't! Just about a few months ago I started using the ones w/ wings and I couldn't believe how much easier I felt about my period. :)

I just feel more comfortable with wings. That way I know fer sure the pad wont try to come off. lol.

yeah... i usually wear tampons, except during the night. if i wear a pad w/o wings during the first or second night of my periods, it's a mess...

I have the same problem too. I sometimes also have to buy extra long sanitary towels
