No. In the movie she comes across that way but the book was nothing like that. In the book she had nothing to do with telling Umbridge. But she was still a hot mess because in the book she was crying hysterically every five seconds. I couldn't stand her because she was just a mess and completely wrong for Harry, but she's not anything like the movie made her out to be.

No I don't consider her as a villain. But I won't consider her as a heroine, such as Hermione and Luna, either. To me Cho really needs to find who she is inside and stay away from romantic relationships for a while until she's over Cedric. I think that the movies did a horrible job on portraying her character.

Not at all, I kind of liked her character. I don't see any way that she could be seen as a villain in the book. She liked Harry sure, but I don't think that was a bad thing. But she was still good, and on the good side. She was just sad a lot. Understandably so after Cedric was murdered.

cho Chang is not a villain she isn't even evil she was victim of voldemorts even though she didn't get hurt by him in person he killed some one she loved and that doesn't make her a villain at all plus she was in the da so that makes her one of the good guys though

Hardly, she is simply a supporting character. Harry needs a love interest, and a conflicted one at that, to help highlight Harry's entry to pubescence and to provide for some extra personal drama.

No. she's the most annoying character in the books, but no, not a villain. Although it would be a cool twist if she was.
