I keep seeing that as an amenity. What kind of room is that?

It could be larger, have separate toilet & shower from sink.
Or sometimes, adjoining rooms, with connecting doors.
But most likely, 1 double & 2 single beds, or cots.
Efficiency means kitchenette (frig, microwave) for meal prep.

it usually means that the room may have a large bed and a couple of twins or a bunkbed or even a sofa sleeper. I know when we were just in the UK rooms just come as a single or a double unless it says family room- and they are hard to find there!
