In windows why does everything seem too big for the monitor? A window appears to be to big for the monitor.

you have to change your screen resolution.
start>settings>control panel> double click display>settings
or right click in your desktop>property and settings

your resolution is set to low, right click on the desktop go to properties settings and change it.
