I'm with you on the driving nuts thing. My best friend was late so much that we started telling her to show up at least one hour before we wanted to meet. I am always early for my appointments at the least 15minutes, usually more near 30. I get really twitchy when others aren't on time.

Depends on the appointment. I try to be on time, especially if it's important (like a specialist's appointment, or my kids' school), but I'm usually 5 - 10 minutes late for everything else. It always takes me longer to get out the door than I think it will. Especially if I'm feeling good. If I'm in a depressed mood, I'm out the door faster, for some reason. Maybe less distracted. I've heard that people with ADHD are also chronically late. Apparently, their internal time clock doesn't work properly. Perhaps your friend has this problem.

I am one of those people are compulsive about being early. When I was a teenager, I would have to drive around the block a lot until it was time to pick up my date. Isn't that a little obsessive, or maybe I have a bad sense of time.

I am NEVER late for ANYTHING! (unless something happens that is unexpected) We used to tell one of my friends the wrong time to show up EX: if we wanted to meet at 6pm, we told her 5:30, because she was usually at least 30 minutes late. This actually worked!

I am always 10min early. Don't think that it is you. Being on time is what is suppose to happen. People hate it when others are late. There is nothing you can do, if their late-their late. Just let them look dumb, knowing that you are on time and collected-ready to go. Just them seeing you be there, on time, collected, ready to go, will make them feel dumb enough.

I don't like it when others are late for me so I'm on time. If I were you, I'd make her wait sometime and see if she likes it.
