Pogge is the better goalie in my opinion, but Carey Price will render any conversation mute as he is the goaltender of the future!

Rask seemed to have hit a glass ceiling which may be personally imposed. Occassionally european players find the adjustment to life in North America difficult and this seems to be part of Rask's issue. Pogge also ran into some issues in his first year in Marlieland. He may not have been prepared to work as hard as he was expected to and to take the full time instruction he now found he had. His last part of last season saw some turn around and the Leafs are still holding out hope for him Some goalies take a while to mature and in both cases I think this is true. The coin is still spinning here on both of them so right now this question really has neither a heads or tails answer I'm afraid.

As a toronto fan, I was pretty disappointed when Rask was traded, and that's true of most fans I knew. Now I wouldn't necessarily say I would have traded Pogge instead. It can be hard to tell which goaltender will do well ... recall the islanders sticking with dipietro and letting luongo go. Now DiPietro may well have an excellent career, but at this point, you'd have to think they wish they'd stuck witn Luongo. I just felt that if they kept both, the odds that one would go far would be decent.
I think Rask is potentially better then Pogge, but also more likely to flame out. So he's maybe a riskier bet, but has better raw talent.

AS of right now, Pogge, but Rask will be a wicked goalie. He hasn't had much exposure to the North American game, accept for the world juniors. Once he comes over to the minors, we will no for sure how good he truly will be.

Looks like Rask will make it there first, but brightest future? Assuming they stay with their current teams, I'd say Pogge, only because Toronto has a slightly better overall defense than Boston. Hard to compare them otherwise, unless you got to see them in a lot of Marlie games, which I didn't.
