i have a 1971 dodge demon with a 225 slant six in it and a 7 1/4 diff with 2.76 gears. i am putting in a 8 3/4 diff with 3.55 gears. is there anything i can do besides the diff (which i heard will give it a lot more power) to increase the power of the 6?

NO, the slant six is a strong engine on the bottom end, but not so great on the top end. But a 360 will bolt up to your trans. and falls right into place on the mounts, that will get you moving.

Personally,I wouldn't mess with it too much.Try to keep the car in stock appearance and it will hold it's value as a collector car much better.Spend your money on restoration, not rodding.Just my opinion.

I think you are going to run into problems with the driveshaft. The 8¾" R/A will require larger diameter cups on the u-joints.

Good Luck . . .
