Man makes of HIS tools a place for the keeping. He can not "upkeep" without them. Before the tool, even, a hand it would fit into. Describe a man who is "fully and expertly used" in the larger scheme of his possibilities.

The pen is mightier than the sword. Or, maybe in our modern times,
"The keyboard is mightier than the sword!"

It rhymes better, anyway...

I would describe such a man as, "A compleat writer." (spelling intentional) for one who is fully and expertly used. Which, by the way, is a lot easier if you have a thumb.

i think it is the same craft he/she set for himself/herself, so it is a personal/subjective sort of craft which he/she can only qualify whether it is fully and expertly used.
