If you are swimming in a clean pool, you should be fine. The chlorine will, most likely, kill any bacteria. Now, if it is a poorly maintained pool, there could be a problem.
Just hope no one has been peeing in the pool, or worse.
You should ask the person who pierced it, they should know for sure.

If the piercing has healed and not been damaged then there is no reason it should get infected, especially in a properly maintained pool. Silly to get it pierced IMHO

I don't think that it will get infected unless you get it and immediatey go swimming in a lake or something that's dirty. I don't think that they will get infected if you go swimming in a pool! Remember to drink cranberry juice!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think you will be fine. I have quite a few piercings and have swam with all of them before they healed (in pools and the ocean). It seems to help them heal anyways...

It shouldn't be a problem. Chlorine sterilizes any unsanitary substance in water, and will probably clean the piercing as well.

if nothing else, the chlorine in the pool should PREVENT it from being infected.
