The lord is my Shepherd
that's relationship

I shall not want
that's supply

He maketh me to lie down in green pastures
that's rest

He leadeth me beside the still water's
that's refreshment

He restoreth my soul
that's healing

He leadeth me in the paths of righteousness
that's guidance

For His name sake
that's purpose

Ye, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death
that's testing

I will fear no evil
that's protection

For Thou art with me
that's faithfulness

Thy rod and Thy staff comfort me
that's discipline

Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of my enemies
that's hope

Thou anointest my head with oil
that's consecration

My cup runneth over
that's abundance

Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life
that's blessing

And I will dwell in the house of the Lord
that's security

FOREVER

Received this in an e-mail and thought that it was Special.
What is most valuable, is not what we have in our lives; but WHO we have in our lives.

Me too John C. When I received this email I think I read it 6 times and each time I thought what a beautiful prayer/psalm it is.
I hope that it brings some joy to all who read it and reply.

I agree with you, Papa Chuck.

We are truly blessed with people who surround us with their love, who give value to the essence of our existence, and who help us strengthen our faith.

I agree with you,( about the founding on earlier pagan religions) i am a christian, most 3rd world tribes found now will have their gods and goddess beliefs.Just because some people strayed and worshiped other gods does not mean all did! I would say the catholic church of today was founded on a lot of superstition, i.e the Apocrypha, has spells in it. Yes i believe God is the author of the Bible, i.e 'all scripture is given by inspiration of God' common sense says if I believe the Bible is true i must believe ALL of it is true! even though i have not experienced these creatures myself!. I can NOT CHERRY PICK. the Bible is either true or it isn't.
