Wehave heard that roto-rooter employees are turned into vampires and trained to bite when they hear the roto-rooter theme.
Is this true? Has anybody been bitten on a house call from them?

The best thing he did was leave so you don't have to deal with him again. Any service person, plumber or other trades, that comes to your house to fix a problem should make an honest effort to resolve the complaint. The drain that you are talking about is not that big in size and probably not too long of a run. If you have the ability, you can rent a power snake for less than $50 and clean the drain yourself. The type of snake that you would need would be a drum attached to a drill motor. It is easy to use. In the drain you will probably find lint from the washer. Once the drain is clear, use some kind of a lint trap to prevent further trouble.

Well their biting is only to suck all of the money out of you in an emergency. I hate most of those companies , because they take advantage of common people in tough situations. Plus, I'd like to make it CLEAR that those yahoo's ARE NOT PLUMBERS. They are turd cowboys. They clean out clogged toilets and sewer lines. The only differance between them and you is an hour's worth of training. No Lic required.
So please, pretty please, stop calling these monkeys plumbers.
