Cheating is not the main reason why the divorce rate is high for firefighters. It makes me mad that the first thing you would think of is cheating. It is the same reason the divorce is high with cops. Many women can't handle the stress of their husbands doing such a dangerous job. ot knowing when they leave the house if they will be coming home or maybe this will be the day they are injured on the job. That is the Number one reason why the divorce rate is high....it has nothing to do with cheating!!!!!!

I was a firefighter, till a truck hit me and my soon to be ex husband still is a firefighter...Now i have worked with plenty of firefighters for many years and there is a high rate of cheating...Some do it to get ahead, some of the higher ups do it, because they can...Most have been caught, i have plenty of great oops stories LOL...
But i have also worked with some of the best people i have ever meet in my life...They are loving wives and husbands and they don't cheat...I think that with the ones that do, they have this I'm god thing going...Girls like a big strong fireman...Ugh if you all knew how these guys really are, you would find them gross, not all but most....
The divorce rate is high, main because firefighter can be gone from home for a long period of time on a fire, or they work 3 or 4 days on and the rest of the week off...
Someone has to be a very independent person to marry a firefighter, that have to be able to spend a lot of time by themselves...
Cheating i would say comes second to this...

There is a very high divorce rate for train drivers too. Also the Police Force. I dont think it matters what the profession is, I think its more to do with opportunity and also working hours. If a person is always working odd hours which a police officer, a firefighter and a traindriver all have in common, then maybe its not because of cheating, maybe its because there is no time for the wife and family. Although a man in uniform has a power about him and many women are attracted to a man in uniform......they are also attracted to the power. Sometimes it can go to the man's head and he doesnt think about the consequences.

After every fire most firefighters go to the bar to unwind and we all know what goes on in a bar.There are certain bars the firefighters hang in and women know this my brother lost his wife to a firefighter.She knew it was a hangout for firefighters that was the attraction.

First of all,with regards to the sex,use your right hand,take care of yourself,and STOP ASKING HER!!! She eats up the fact that you beg,plead and chase. When she asks why you stopped trying,tell her that you got tired of chasing her only to have her turn you down. Second,I too am a faithful man. Granted you should NEVER have said the things you said and bro,it sounds to me like you need to watch your tongue in the future. HOWEVER I would not defend myself against an accusation of something that I did not do. I would simply say" I didnt do it,believe the truth or believe the fantasy" and that would be it. If she chose to believe me and then brought it up later,I'm out the door.....FAST.
