Probably not. There are no studies to prove that the chemicals will harm the fetus. Some women don't dye their hair simply to be on the safe side, but most doctors and midwives would give you the green light.
I've had lots of different doctors and all said "go for it." Just be careful not to inhale too many fumes.

A lot of women say "dont dye your hair! the chemicals will hurt the baby!" Well thats not true unless you use certain dyes. Definitely get it professionally done and make sure they know you are pregnant. As long as they use a certain type of dye you and the baby will be just fine =] good luck and god bless!

you can dye your hair, there is no harm to the baby. You just need to make sure the fumes arent strong because they can make you sick. If you arent really sure then talk to you doctor. I am two months pregnant and my doctor told me that it is perfectly fine to dye my hair.

During both my pregnancies I colored my hair. I got paranoid and I did research and all the research shows that it won't cause harm to your baby. Both my children are fine. They say if you want to be extra safe, you shouldn't do it during the first trimester, but you're past that.

The general recommendation is that you wait until after the first trimester. But remember that everything you put on your body will absorb into your body. That said, I died my hair several times while pregnant and my daughter turned out fine. (More then fine in fact)

my doctor told me that it is ok to do so as long as i was in a well ventallated area, but I would ask your doctor just to be sure since I don't know exactly how your pregnancy is going or your past medical history.

dying your hair is completely safe during pregnancy, it said so on the paper my doctor gave me of what to and not to do during pregnancy.

NO! try to avoid some chemicals that you will inhale. im also pregnant and im trying to avoid to go to the salons and to inhale some insecticides. dye your hair when your gave birth.
